BOAR : A Library of Fragmented Object
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present BOAR, a forest-structured library of predeened Fragmented Objects (FOs) encapsulating commonly used distributed abstractions. We identify three kinds of interaction FO types (channel, sharing, and synchronization), which can be beneecially included in BOAR. A channel FO type encapsulates a remote or group invocation protocol. A sharing FO type encapsulates a sharing mechanisms such as replication or partition. Finally, a synchronization FO type encapsulates a synchronization mechanism. A FO programmer picks-up from BOAR, the FO types implementing the mechanisms which ts best its needs.

An Object-Oriented Approach for Replication Management
One of the main goals of the object oriented approach is software reuse Research in replication management brings forward many algorithms that often need reinventing the wheel to progress Our approach consists of providing high level building blocks for various replication protocols each one paying only for the mechanisms it uses Our goal is to encourage reusability of distributed abstractions ...

متن کاملFragmented Objects for Distributed Abstractions
Fragmented Objects (FOs) extend the object concept to a distributed environment. The abstract view of a FO is a single, shared object, of which the distribution is hidden to clients. In the concrete view the FO designer controls (if wished) the distribution of data and function and of the communication between fragments. FO programming is supported by the FOG language, an extension of C++, and ...
متن کاملSemiology the Animal Motifs on Medallion Fabrics during the Sasanian Era (Case Study: Ram, Boar, Lion, Deer and Elephant)
In a wide range of fabrics attributed to Sasanian era, animal motifs are observable in the form of geometric designs, including medallions. The case study in the present paper concerned animal motifs of Sassanid textiles with a focus on natural and non-domesticated animals that were able to be depicted in the form of a Medallion design alone and without the presence of a hunter. According to th...
متن کاملO-16: Metabolism of Exogenous Fatty Acids, Fatty Acid-Mediated Cholesterol Efflux, PKA and PKC Pathways in Boar Sperm Acrosome Reaction
Background: For understanding the roles of fatty acids on the induction of acrosome reaction which occurs under association of cholesterol efflux and PKA or PKC pathways in boar spermatozoa, metabolic fate of alone and combined radiolabeled 14C-oleic acid and 3H-linoleic acid incorporated in the sperm was compared, and behavior of cholesterol and effects of PKA and PKC inhibitors upon fatty aci...
